Cost: Whether you are nominating an individual, a team or entering one of our special recognition titles, the miaList is FREE to enter.
Ceremony: The 2023 miaList will be revealed during a glitzy awards dinner at Park Plaza Victoria London on Friday, 6 October 2023.
Entry criteria: Anyone who is working within or is associated with the UK’s business meetings and events industry is eligible to be featured on the prestigious miaList. However, individuals must be nominated by either a colleague or an associate.
Judging: All nominations will be assessed by an expert panel of judges, from emerging stars to industry stalwarts spanning all corners of the sector. Meet our judges here.
Voting: Team and initiative awards will be shortlisted by our judging panel and will then be subject to a weighted public vote.
Entry Tips
When compiling your entry our best advice is:
- Introduce the candidate, team or company
- Provide detailed reasons for them being a worthy winner
- Follow the guidelines for entry
- Proof read your entry
- Submit the entry on time!
Judges will be looking for evidence that the nominee or team:
- Delivers consistent results
- Goes above and beyond the call of duty
- Seeks ways to improve operations – cost-saving / driving business / standards
- Is a strong team player and is highly self-motivated
- Acts as a source of support / encouragement / inspiration to colleagues
- Is a true ‘brand ambassador
- Is creative when problem-solving
- Shows initiative, has a flair for innovation and driving new ideas
- Shows a desire for continual professional development and embracing new challenges
