About the speakers

 Since 2005 Mark Gallen and Helen Sandman have been helping venues and hotels to differentiate their sales approach and improve their results. Their clients include Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Accor and many independent venues. Both are Masters of the (ISM) Institute of Sales Management and their training is approved by the Continuing Professional Development Certification Service. They walk their talk and know the challenges that face venues and hotels when it comes to selling event space.

They are responsible for creating the online training platform Sales Gym™ and the MEST (M&E Sales Training) courses that over 700 people now subscribe to. In 2019 Sales Gym™was shortlisted for the Learning Technologies Awards and in these uncertain times continues to provide support and help for many furloughed employees.
