Rory Archibald: Founder and CEO of New Intent

Rory loves to challenge the status quo. He started his career in events and tourism over 15 years ago and has realised the potential for this industry to change the world. Bridging the gap between delegates at conferences and societal change has become his mission in life. Rory is the founder of New Intent, a diversity, equality, inclusion, and environmental action advocacy organisation that launched in August 2022. New Intent work with partners and members to educate, advocate, research and promote the role of events in creating positive social transformation across the world. It reflects Rory’s own belief that we need to start taking main-stage discussions and turning it into action. We must now meet face-to-face, visit, and celebrate with New Intent.
