Connect: Bringing agents and venues together

Book Your Place

The mia believes and has proven, that it is essential to develop relationships at the highest level between venues and the UK’s top booking agents. The facilities and capabilities of venues, alongside the expertise and reach of agents, make for a very successful partnership in the meetings and events industry.

Our connect events have grown significantly into well-established and highly sought-after networking opportunities that take place around the country. Throughout the pandemic, the mia delivered two Connect Virtual sessions that supported event agencies and venues in navigating their way through re-connecting and re-building those business relationships. We are delighted to be back live!

The experiential event allows delegates to completely immerse themselves in an intimate series of discussions to gain crucial insights and ask agents burning questions. It takes the form of a full-day event with refreshments, lunch, and an afternoon of dynamic team-building activities. The day will conclude with a happy hour drinks reception to enable you to catch up with your industry colleagues.

These events are always very popular, and regularly trend on Twitter!

COVID Event Safety Measures

Our priority is the health and safety of our attendees. The mia continually follows the official guidance from the UK Government, and to ensure confidence in attending an mia event, all event safety measures will be highlighted prior to attending. All requirements and expectations of attendees will be communicated ahead of an event based on the current guidelines at that time.
