FAQs

Following announcements in July that major business meetings and events can restart from 1 October, subject to pilots, we are delighted that the government has been listening to the sector and recognises our ability to open and operate safely.

While the Prime Minister’s announcement is one welcomed by all in the industry, we continue to communicate closely with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to gain clarity on the latest developments and what this means for you and your business.

The overarching government guidance is designed to provide as much clarity to the industry as possible, however we know that some grey areas still remain, so have addressed these in our dedicated FAQ sheet in collaboration with the government.

As we continue to deliver wide-ranging resources and support to the industry, we are committed to engaging with our network of members to identify both theirs and the industry’s needs, to share intelligence and to provide further COVID-19 support that may be highlighted through regular conversations held with members.

To benefit from these direct discussions, the sharing of additional intelligence and consultation to your business, we encourage venues and industry operators to join our community of forward-thinking members today.
