How does the process work?

More than 500 venues and service suppliers across the UK have proudly achieved AIM Accreditation, which is endorsed by the HBAA and more than 35 UK business tourism destinations. AIM-accredited venues and suppliers are audited against a strict 50-point criteria including:

  • Quality of facilities (venues only)
  • Accessibility
  • Legal compliance
  • Customer service proposition and experience
  • Performance against an ethical code of conduct
  • Best practice standards

Once the assessment is complete and payment has been made, we can award your accreditation. The whole process can take as little as an hour providing all information is supplied and payment is processed.

What is the cost?

The annual subscription fee for AIM Accreditation on a standalone basis is £300 plus VAT.

As a conference placement agent responsible for the management of central HM Government, we only actively recognise AIM accreditation by the Meetings Industry Association as the assurance of standards and compliance within the MICE sector. Unlike transient hotels offering overnight bedrooms, we have found that only the MIA provide an industry recognised accreditation to enable assurance to both ourselves as a booking agent and our customers of certain levels of basic compliance and quality standards.
