On March 9th 2020, the mia delivered the first Extraordinary Matters – COVID19 live conference in London in the early stages of the pandemic. Little did we know the sheer impact this would have had on the events and hospitality industry, businesses, and the world. As we addressed key topics and concerns in a timely response to every update and change from the government, we lead our members and industry with support, guidance, and shared experiences from other countries through our Extraordinary Matters series.

The Extraordinary Matters series of events has been part of our continued business support throughout the pandemic. It commenced with one of the last live events the sector held, and our aim is to continue offering support and share best practices with our members. Our webinar programme has supported our membership to keep business moving and to prepare for the future post COVID.
