EGM Summary
The MIA will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting giving members the opportunity to vote on proposed changes to the structure of the Board of Directors to keep the Board agile and focused.
At a recent meeting of the MIA Board of Directors, it was proposed that the number of Board members be reduced and that the criteria for joining the board strengthened to ensure we can enhance our current board with industry experts to give us a dynamic board keen to drive the Associations agenda to support the industry in a climate of change. This is a proposal that has the full backing of the full MIA Board of Directors who agree that it is necessary to prepare for a climate that will require superb leadership and extensive industry knowledge.
To implement these changes prior to the Annual General Meeting in February 2020, MIA members need to vote on this amendment to the association’s constitution.
The Extraordinary General Meeting should take no more than 30 minutes and will offer a brief networking opportunity over coffee.

09:00 - Registration
09:30 - EGM starts
10:00 - Networking
10:30 - Approx. Finish
