What do our members say about their MIA membership?
Lacy Curtis-Ward, Director & General manager, Lensbury Club
"Being a part of the MIA is a tremendous help to our business. It allows us to benchmark material (through things like the MIA's Agency and Venue Contract templates), review and expand best practice (through the AIM programme), to have access to strong educational material (annual conference, etc) and to network with other high calibre people in our industry. I couldn't do without it!"
John Gallery, Director, Great Potential & LateMeetings.com
"The MIA provides an excellent forum for our business tourism consultancy Great Potential and our online meetings booking service LateMeetings.com. We can exchange ideas, ask for help from fellow members and contribute something back into the industry. It's a great resource and good value."
Peter Darnell, Chairman and Managing Director, The Chartridge Conference Company Ltd
"CCC joined the MIA when we started the company as a way of being part of the wider conference and meetings sector, opening doors that a small player could not and providing the support and touchstones that my previous life in a multi-national organisation were taken for granted. As the company grew and developed in size and complexity the MIA continued to be relevant for us in providing a framework and benchmarks around which to mould our operational activity. Quality is a key issue in my company and the AIM accreditation scheme will now provide the next step in assuring our clients of excellence and I'm grateful to the MIA for continuing to grow and develop and provide a bedrock for individuals and group business on which to build better businesses."
Katy Robinson, Conference Bureau Manager, Chester & Cheshire Conference Bureau
"As a conference bureau, our MIA Membership is key to assisting us in raising the profile of our destination and also working closely with the MIA to embrace the quality initiative AIM. We value the support of the MIA and are always looking at how we can develop our relationship with them."
