AIM which is endorsed by VisitBritain, Visit England, Visit Wales and Meetings Professionals International is the scheme designed by the Meetings Industry Association to aid you, the buyer, as you strive to find the very best venue for your next meeting.

 

AIM measures the facilities of venues and the legal compliance of venues and suppliers and because all participants in the scheme have signed the Meetings CODE you can be sure that they are people you will feel comfortable doing business with.  

 

 

 

We check all of these things so you don't have to:

The location and accessibility of the meeting room/s and the overall facilities provided by the venue.

How the meeting room/s are lit and heated.

What levels of security do the meeting rooms offer.

How often the rooms are cleaned and decorated.

Whether the space and furniture are adequate and suitable.

The provision of in-room services such as power sockets.

What is supplied at no extra charge .

How transparent are the published prices.

And if a venue scores less than 60% of the 50 facilities grading criteria they don't qualify for AIM!

 

We insist that all AIM accredited venues and suppliers comply with all of these legal ACTS:

Health & Safety at Work and Fire Safety

Disability Discrimination

Employers Liability

Data Protection

Sale & Supply of Goods

Trade Descriptions

Consumer Protection

Weights & Measures

Race Relations, Sex discrimination, Disability Discrimination and Age discrimination.

Licensing Laws

And if they don't comply they don't qualify for AIM!

 

We make sure that all AIM accredited venues and suppliers are the sort of people you want to do business with by insisting that they abide by the Meetings CODE demanding:

Consistency

Openness

Decency

Ethics

And just to make sure we have covered all of the bases we make sure that all AIM accredited venues have written contracts in place which include charges, payments and their cancellation charges so there are no surprises awaiting you!

And that's not all we measure!

AIM at our SILVER and GOLD levels measures customer service from first contact through to the 'on the day' experience and in the unlikely event that they receive a complaint, we even measure how they deal with it!

And if they don't agree to this they don't qualify for AIM!
