AIM at Entry level is compulsory for all MIA members. AIM provides the industry and its buyers with a universally recognised indicator of quality for meetings and services. Being AIM accredited gives venues and suppliers a clear marketing advantage over non AIM accredited venues and product and service providers. AIM is endorsed by VisitBritain in England, Visit England, Visit Wales and MPi UK. The most noticeable aspect of the AIM scheme is its simplicity. The scheme is effective because it encourages continuous improvement. The opportunity to AIM Higher and achieve Gold or Silver is optional to MIA venue members. Achievement of these levels sends a positive signal to potential clients that superior service levels have been achieved.
