As a destination when you choose to join the mia you enter a unique group of organisations which together form the mia Destinations Group.
Created in response to the needs of members this group is a member led group with its own Chair. The Chair of the group is elected by destination members to guide the mia executive and to be the voice of mia destinations on the mia Council.
When you join the mia the membership you hold will be for your organisation only which makes it a very special way of keeping up to date with the issues that affect you on a day to day basis. Of course we would be delighted to welcome any of your venue partners into membership and would be delighted to talk to you about how we can encourage participation from them to make you a wholly AIM accredited destination.
Who can join?
Membership is open to all UK destinations who qualify at 'Entry Level' of AIM, the mia's accreditation scheme .
