Hotel Inspector Alex Polizzi will be hosting a drinks reception in the Meetings Industry Association’s AIM Pavilion at leading industry show International Confex.
The highly respected hotel consultant and TV personality will be on the mia’s AIM stand on 1 March following her keynote speech in which she is expected to deliver an inspirational talk about her experience of working and advising the industry.
Those AIM accredited venues, suppliers and destinations exhibiting in the AIM Pavilion during the two-day show at Olympia will be able to invite a select number of VIP guests to join the exclusive reception, which will see Alex lend some practical advice to those lucky enough to be in attendance.
Jane Longhurst, chief executive of the mia, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Alex Polizzi will be taking time out of her busy schedule to be on hand to share her wisdom and experience with our exhibitors and their VIP guests. It is a fantastic opportunity for our AIM accredited venues, destinations and suppliers as not only do we make it possible for them to exhibit in a cost-effective and hassle free way, but they will also get the chance to speak and listen to Alex who has so much experience and knowledge to share, which is why the organisers of Confex are billing her as the headline speaker.”
She added: “Confex is always a fantastic show and provides the mia with a great platform to spread the word about our ongoing work promoting operational excellence, innovation and business performance. It provides a great occasion for us to meet face-to-face with buyers from across the industry to find out about both their current challenges as well as the opportunities for the year ahead. We’re expecting our stand to be very busy throughout the show as we’re also giving delegates the chance to win some fabulous prizes on our interactive and cutting-edge ‘spin the wheel’ promotion.”
Prizes include a Champagne afternoon tea for four with an overnight stay in a suite at The Grand Harbour Hotel, Southampton, as well as two hospitality tickets to the England v South Africa, Fourth Investec Test Match on Sunday, 6 August donated by Lancashire County Cricket Club, Emirates Old Trafford.
A limited amount of space is still available in the AIM Pavilion should any other AIM accredited venues, suppliers or destinations like to exhibit.
