Meetings and events specialists, Mexia Communications, are celebrating after winning silver at the prestigious CIPR PRide Awards.

The company, which specialises in the meeting and events and technology sector, claimed a top award for the second year running as they attended the annual black tie ceremony which was held at Homerton College, Cambridge. The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), which organises the CIPR awards, is the professional body for public relations practitioners in the UK and prides itself on contributing confidence and trust within the PR industry.

The PRide awards recognises the dedication and outstanding work delivered by leading public relations professionals to their clients and employees, running nine award ceremonies across the United Kingdom. Mexia Communications claimed the silver award for “Outstanding Small PR Consultancy” and was shortlisted among five other top public relations companies.

The award was a double celebration for Mexia, which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

ITV Anglia News presenter, Johnathan Wills, presented the awards at the evening which included a four course meal and live entertainment.
