Samantha Gee joins Well Met Conferencing as Conference and Events Officer, having previously attended Leeds Beckett University for her degree in Managing Cultural and Major Events (BA) hons.
Samantha’s career in conferencing started at the tender age of 16, working at Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa in Leeds in the restaurant before moving on to host weddings which is where her love for events began. On completion of her degree, Samantha was promoted to Senior Conference Co-ordinator at Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa, having previously dabbled in front of house reservations. However, her experience isn’t tied solely to the hotel industry, honing her skills at the Rugby Football League’s annual Dacia Magic Weekend and as a freelance Wedding Co-ordinator also.
