Specialist meetings and events PR and content marketing consultancy Mexia Communications has expanded its growing team with the appointment of highly experienced PR and marketing specialist Eveleen Hatch to the newly created role of Account Director.

Eveleen brings over 23 years of experience in PR and marketing to the team at Mexia and a further ten years in journalism. Her appointment comes during a time of significant growth for the Oxfordshire based B2B agency which specialises in the international meetings and events sector. Its ever increasing client base includes world class venues, destinations and event tech companies, including Twickenham Stadium, Lord’s Cricket Ground, RIBA Venues, Sadler’s Wells, Lausanne Tourism, Central Hall Westminster, The Royal College of Physicians and more.

After training as a journalist and working in news and features for over 10 years, Eveleen moved into PR, gaining experience across a broad spectrum of sectors including Blue Chip press office roles, public sector, lifestyle, education, travel and B2B. She has also run her own PR consultancy Buzzword PR which later merged with an agency specialising in consumer travel and lifestyle which has helped her to understand the demands of a growing business.

Eveleen took up her post in April 2016 after working for almost two years as Marketing and Communications Manager at Oxford based independent day and boarding school Rye St Antony where she implemented a new marketing strategy which included press and PR, events, social media, marketing literature, branding, photography and more.
